Fibre
The alpacas are responsibly farmed in the Peruvian highlands, where the spinning and dyeing of the yarn also occurs. Alpacas' impact is light on the land they graze which makes them one of the most environmentally friendly animals.
Pima cotton is a cotton plant species with extra-long fibre length compared to conventional cotton, resulting in yarn with a luxurious silky feel that is extremely strong. Our Pima cotton is grown in Peru.

Fabric
The combination of Pima cotton and alpaca fibre results in cosy knitwear that has the drape of cotton with the warmth of alpaca. The fibres are 'top' dyed before being spun into yarn. This process results in beautiful melange colours and a softer hand feel. Each panel is knitted to the shape of the garment which therefore creates less wastage. Panels and trims are attached using a hand-linking machine, resulting in a premium, high-quality garment.

Factory
The knits are produced in close collaboration with one of our longest standing suppliers, a small knitter based in Dongguan, China. We have enjoyed working with owner Robert and his dedicated team, Ceci and Carmen, for over 20 years. Their knowledge, experience and attention to detail is second to none. We are proud to have them as part of our team.
